As for how long it took...I really have no idea! I worked on the art here and there for several weeks, and Eli Parker and I exchanged some emails and IMs to do the writing on Friday, so I wasn't really logging hours or anything. A part of me really doesn't want to know how much time I spent on it. :D
You should consider sending this over to Webcomic Cameos and Crossovers Archive. It's definitely one of the least expected ones I've seen.
They really appreciate submissions, too.
