7/24: Week-in-Review in Comic Form #3 (finally!)

JACKSON: Unwinder, we're live in five. We need you on the set! UNWINDER: I'm not quite ready. Gimme a sec. JF: We don't have a sec. You need to be out here now! UW: Okay, okay, I'm coming...
(an ominous figure appears silhouetted in the dark dressing room; Jackson Ferrell screams. Unwinder then emerges from the dressing room, after the disembodied head of Abraham Lincoln.) UW: Oh man, the look on his face was priceless! ABE: Actually the look on his face was twenty bucks. And speaking of which, you owe me twenty bucks.
JACKSON: Welcome to This Week in Webcomics. I'm Jackson Ferrell and this is Unwinder from some webcomic or whatever. (Interrupting Unwinder) Let's have a look at some OTHER webcomics.

Starslip: Monday, 7/20/09
JACKSON: Kris Straub is test-piloting a colorized Starslip this week. What do you think, Unwinder? UNWINDER: I like the blue. Not so sure about the red. Next topic please.

Matriculated: Wednesday, 7/22/09
JACKSON: I always enjoy how Joe Dunn draws his characters. On a side note, in this economy, you're lucky to have a job with any benefits at all. UNWINDER: Yeah, wow, and with a cafeteria food joke like that, he's all set to ghostwrite for Mort Walker. HEY-O! That's right, Jackson. You may have your finger on the pulse of pop-culture, but I've got a little something else on there!
UNWINDER: Go ahead Jackson, take a guess. Guess what part of my body is on the pulse of pop-culture.

Creep House: Monday, 7/20/09
UNWINDER: If you like seeing Abraham Lincoln's floating head around, then hey, good news. He's got a lot more free time now. Stop by Miles Grover's newer, better, taller comic Creep House if you haven't already. The latest installment is really good. JACKSON: I mentioned that in last week's update. It's like he doesn't even know what show he's on.

Cat and Girl: Tuesday, 7/21/09
JACKSON: Everybody needs somebody to love...them. But if it weren't for the gleeful smile on his face, I'd swear Cat was getting cynical here. UNWINDER: This is a pretty good pick. I mention this because I feel obligated to agree with you on at least one thing.

Request Comics #85 (date unknown)
UNWINDER: I don't remember when this went up, but Ben Heaton did my request. I gotta say, it's pretty much what I expected. I'll let it speak for itself. JACKSON: Honestly, Unwinder, there are about a million better Request Comics you could have linked to. And if you absolutely insist on promoting yourself, you could have at least picked Ben Heaton's guest strip for Tall Comics. Since apparently we've already thrown out the whole 'from this week' thing for the show.
