Hi, everyone. Right now I'm at the Outer Banks in North Carolina, enjoying the beach with my family, as you read these words that I typed last week. Automation is a truly magical thing.
Anyway...once I come back, I've been thinking about doing a feature on journal comics, and I'm interested to hear from you on the subject. Do you read any journal comics? Is one of your favorite comics a journal comic? What do you think about the idea in general--creating a comic that is expressly about oneself and one's life? Drop a comment and share your thoughts on journal comics.
Be sure to tune in this Friday for a guest entry from Jen. I hope that you're enjoying your summer, whether on vacation or not...I'll see you next week!

I really like Allan (allancomic.com). I can't really think of any other journal comics that I read, though.
I kinda like Jam's Wasted Talent, mainly for the slightly manga-esque (yet still distinct) art.
I read a couple journal comics, and while i feel that they are less likely to get super popular they seem like a perfectly fine idea to me. Considering personal journals are everywhere online why not journal comics? they're easier to read than peoples LJs at anyrate.
I used to read Allan, then somehow stopped. Now I read SketchFervor, but it updates sporadically.
Thanks for all the suggestions and remarks, guys.
Speearr--can you give me a link to SketchFervor?
Anonymous--can you give me links to some of the comics you read? I like links. :)
I just started one at http://jedcollins.livejournal.com
It's called Adventures in Soberness and is suppose to be about me not drinking like a maniac.

I commented earlier as anonymous, but forgot to include links to any comics, so here are a few journal, and semi-journaly comics.
Thanks for the links, Smedzgod. Three Panel Soul is one of my favorite comics, but the others are new to me...I look forward to checking them out. :)
I like "Normal Life" by Natasha Allegri.
